    The Muslim Sisters Association is Masjid Al Farooq set-a-side program to its Muslim sister awareness and comfort. They provide several community service tasks for Muslim families.

  • Our vision is to be the premier Islamic Institution on the Southeast of Chicago that provides our children with a sound, balanced, and structured Islamic environment. MAF mission is to prepare our children for each phases of Islamic education by providing strong fundamentals and character building based on Qu'ran and Sunnah.

    To date, we have about 120 children and only 8 volunteer teachers. Our short term goal is to keep MAFA running with the help of donation from our beloved Muslim brothers & sisters and our long term term goal is aquire a grant writter specialist. READ MORE
  • Masjid Al Farooq Janazah committee (MAFJC) provides Islamic Funeral Services to Muslims in Chicago. We call upon our Muslim brothers and sisters for help with any amount of donation to assist the family of the deceased to make the necessary funeral arrangements.

    In order to comform to the Sunah of the Prophet [pbuh], Masjid Al Farooq donates $10.00 per month towards MAFJC. That would assist with burial and timely funeral Service (pick-up, Washing, shrouding, purchase of burial plot, transportation, and Salatul Janazah).

Our goal is to teach the Qu'ran and follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SalAllahu wasallam) correctly and adhere to the fundamental principles of Islam so as never for the Muslim brothers and sisters of southeast side to go astray.

Khutba delivered in Masjid Al-Mustafa (Bear Creek NW) on January 14, 2011 (10 Safar 1432 AH). Khutba about the story of Prophet Musa (A) in search of meeting someone more knowledgeable than him.

In his quest, he meets Khidr (A) and learns many lessons which we can benefit from. This Khutba explains the story and numerates the lessons we can learn and implement.
